Pressure floater for wastewater treatment
The pressure flotation device for wastewater treatment is a technological capacity installation for the selection and removal of suspended substances, organic impurities, petroleum products, fats, oils, surfactants and other emulsified liquid substances from industrial wastewater by flotation
Flotation for wastewater treatment allows you to remove suspended impurities from
the water and collect them on the surface of the water in the form of a flotation foam
The principle of operation of the floater
-
Flotation process:
- Wastewater enters the flotation chamber, which has a special cone-shaped shape.
- Part of the purified water is fed to the saturator by the circulation pump, where the water is saturated with air.
- Water saturated with air is fed to the inlet of the flotation chamber. When the pressure changes, the dissolved air is released from the water in the form of microbubbles, which stick to particles of coagulated pollutants and raise them to the upper part of the flotation chamber (flotation zone), forming a foam layer.
-
Separation on thin-layer elements:
- The purified water from the flotation zone enters the separation zone located in the lower part of the flotation chamber and equipped with lamellas installed at an angle. In this section, the final release of dissolved air takes place, which accelerates the process of microbubbles floating
-
Flotopina removal:
- Removal of flotopina from the water surface is carried out by a high-strength scraper mechanism with an electric drive into a receiving tray, from which floto-sludge is removed by gravity. Shafts, chains, frame of scrapers are made of stainless steel and polymers. For uniform and effective foam removal, all scrapers are made of special material wear-resistant polymer material. The electric drive of the scraper mechanism is covered by a lightweight plastic casing, which provides protection of the electric drive during operation and easy disassembly during maintenance.
-
Sediment removal:
- The resulting sediment is collected in the lower conical part of the flotation chamber and is periodically removed from the installation.
Characteristics:
- Flotation efficiency:
- Suspended substances, mg/l: from 90 to 95%
- Fats, mg/l: from 80 to 98%
- CSC, mgO2/l: from 60 to 90%
- BSKp, mgO2/l: from 60 to 90%
